Owner and second generation on our current farm. He comes from a long line of farmers dating back to the early 1800’s when Montgomery County, Indiana was first homesteaded. Growing up on the farm, he learned that diligence in every daily task was what kept the farm productive. After marrying Pat, he began raising his own children on the farm. He was tasked with the responsibility of balancing the present day with the demands of the future. He has dedicated himself to applying the technological and scientific advancements in agriculture to make our farm more sustainable and fruitful. His passion has been and continues to be the livestock industry, with a focus on raising beef cattle. Today, he enjoys working with his two sons on building an agricultural enterprise that will eventually be passed on to his grandchildren.
Bud’s eldest son and the third generation on our current farm. He farms full-time in Illinois where he maintains a grain and cattle operation. He continues to stay involved in the day-to-day operations of the grain and cattle on the farm in Indiana. He and his wife Emmy have two sons, Jordan and Jamison, who are the fourth generation on the farm.
